Med-tech role and requirements

Chehalis West is seeking a talented and caring med-tech to join the team.

Requirements

Licensed NAC, HC-A, or qualifying NAR.
CPR and First Aid training within 30 days of hire.
Fundamentals of Care training within 120 days of hire.
Mental Health and Dementia Specialty training within 120 days of hire.
Ability to pass a background check.

Core responsibilities

Care for each resident according to the resident’s care plan and Residents’ Rights.
Document resident concerns and inform licensed staff.
Perform wellness and safety checks and answer call lights promptly.
Encourage and assist residents with activities.
Complete required documentation and follow local, state, and federal guidance.
Work as a team member and follow Chehalis West policies and procedures.
Complete shift-specific and other assigned duties within the scope of certification.
